Students will be sharing Christ’s love through the gospel with these people each day.

Live-in St Kilda

Live-in St Kilda is a new style of Summer Project. You'll live in a hostel setting and will try out creative approaches to engage hostel residents and locals on the street on spiritual topics. You'll learn how to share your faith in real-life settings with a broad range of people from different life-stages and ethnic backgrounds, all while growing in your ability to listen to and obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn how to live out your faith in a different environment which will teach you skills you'll be able to apply for the rest of your life.

So why this mission? God's heart is for the world [individuals, families, communities and the nations] to come to know him personally. The sad reality today is that many people are interested in spiritual things, but not many are interested in going to church... So how do we reach them? Campus and Church Movements are passionate about seeing the next generation of leaders to live a Jesus lifestyle that helps people to discover who God is. Similar to the book of Acts, small groups begin and a disciple-making movement is built. Is this a movement that you would like to be a part of?

Note Campus and Church movements are partnering together to help propel disciple-making movements everywhere.

Eligibility It is preferable to have attended a domestic project or some other equivalent mission experience. Check with your local missionary before you apply.

Families come in all sizes, shapes and colours. They are blended, broken, single parent, foster, step, same-sex and traditional. Successfully connecting with such families demands that we take into account their diversity and the new challenges they bring. • 10 Ideas: Connecting With Your Kids

In today’s activity-packed society, it’s more important than ever to intentionally connect with your kids. By Mary May Larmoyeux Children are a heritage from the Lord.—Psalm 127:3 In today’s activity-packed society, it’s more important than ever to intentionally connect with your kids. Here are 10 ideas that can help you get to know your children better and pass on a legacy of faith and fun.

  • 10 Ideas: Reflecting the Fruit of the Spirit

How long since you’ve had a checkup to assess your spiritual health? By Scott Williams  Not long ago, a seasoned marathoner had just crossed the finish line with an impressive time when he suffered a heart attack and died. From the outside, he looked to be the picture of health, but a fatal condition was hiding on the inside. Every one of us needs an occasional visit to the doctor for a checkup to make sure everything is working alright and that we don’t have an unknown serious internal condition.

  • 31 Questions to Help You Be a Better Parent

Answer these questions with honesty, humility, and dependence on God’s power. By Janel Breitenstein Feeling passionate about parenting? If you’d genuinely like a shot in the arm for your parenting, perhaps these questions can get you started. But remember: Their effectiveness is proportionate to your level of honesty, humility, and most of all, dependence on God’s power to make His presence a reality in your children’s lives.

  • 4 Ideas to Improve Your Lovemaking

By Tricia Goyer I like using the term lovemaking when talking about sex in marriage. Any two consenting adults can have sex, but it takes committed-for-life marriage partners to make love. Lovemaking comforts because it releases tension. A backrub is good for tense bodies, a sexual release even better. God was ingenious in His creation. Through lovemaking we can create life, experience one-flesh intimacy and deep knowledge, enjoy deep pleasure, and even comfort each other in times of stress or sorrow.

  • 7 Things to Remember About Sex

What it’s Important to Remember about Sex By Bob Lepine  It’s no surprise that many husbands and wives think differently about sex. And these differences can easily become a source of conflict in marriage.  With that in mind, I want to suggest seven things men need to remember about sex and seven things wives need to keep in mind as well:

  • Are You Ready to Be a Mentor?

Teaching younger couples to have a great marriage may not be as hard as you think By Sabrina Beasley McDonald You’ve heard about the importance of mentoring younger couples, and you’re even willing to give it a try, but you’re scared. Perhaps you’ve had problems in your own marriage that need to be solved. You’ve messed up in the past, and you’re not sure if you’re worthy to teach others how to do things “the right way.” It’s true that mentoring is not for everyone—there are some couples who have serious problems that need to be worked out. But if you are in a growing, working marriage, you may be the perfect candidate to mentor younger couples in your church…especially if you’ve messed up in the past. Mentoring isn’t about having a perfect marriage. No one’s marriage is perfect because none of us is perfect.
